Booked a last minute trip to Playa.  Alan was out of town and not available.  He still arranged for us to scuba dive and hooked us up with Emanuel.   We had the best time. We had the best time diving with Alan, and will always choose him when diving in Tulum.   We really cannot say enough good things about him. Aside from being extremely knowledgeable about the cenotes in the area, which makes him a highly qualified and an excellent guide, he is a fantastic human being- he is super chill, kind and friendly, genuinely a nice man. His experience and calm and easy going personality made me feel extremely safe at all times. I’m a new diver and the idea of cavern diving made me very nervous, but my partner really wanted to do the cenotes, so I agreed to try. I explained all my fears to Alan, and the plan was to ocean dive first so I could feel more comfortable before doing the cenotes. Well, the weather had other plans, so we couldn’t go do the reef on our first day, so cenotes
It was… his briefings were detailed and thorough and he made sure to explain everything we would encounter in detail as to appease my insecurities. He made a point to check on us often and make sure we were doing ok. Cenote Angelita was the one I feared the most- if you’ve seen it, you’ll notice that it looks like a scene from a horror movie. I was afraid of going down into the hydrogen sulfide cloud- it’s eerie. He said in the briefing that he’d ask me along the way if I wanted to keep going, and if I didn’t want to go into the cloud, we’d  just stay above it and no big deal. He asked a couple times along the way if I wanted to continue and I did until we reached the cloud. Then he asked again if we should cross or start the ascent. I was scared. Calm, but scared. So I signaled if we could go down holding hands and he didn’t hesitate to do so. So he grabbed my hand and we went down into the underworld. It was scary and incredible. And even though I my hand had to be held I was proud of myself for doing it and keeping calm, and I was grateful to him for doing that for me. After that, I was excited to dive the other cenotes and was mesmerized by this hidden world underground. Experiencing the cenotes was life changing.  And Alan being there made that happen. I have to add that after 3 days of diving and a post dive celebration, we felt like we’d know him for years, and  like we didn’t just have a superb guide, but we we had a new friend. Seriously, you will not regret diving with Alan.

We will always dive with Alan when we come to Riviera Maya.  He was recommended by past instructors, and he did not disappoint. He took us to the best places, described and explained in detail everything we would be encountering,  and definitely helped us become better divers. I'm so happy I chose Alan to be our diving guide! As a total beginner, I was nervous while researching what/who to go with, but Alan was always happy to chat and answer my questions before the day.

He was friendly, great fun to be around, and highly knowledgeable in diving. It was just me, my husband and Alan, so we had his undivided attention and felt well taken care of. He took things slowly and we never felt rushed. He guided us through the process step by step, always making sure we were comfortable before moving forward.

As for the dive itself, I was amazed by the experience! Casa Cenote was beautiful--the calm waters, the sunlight filtering in and the abundant wildlife meant the whole hour was exciting.

Absoutely best experience! I got Alan's contact from friends because I wanted to dive in the cenotes with two friend of mine less experienced than me. He totally understood the situation and accepted anyway to take us out in one of the best cenotes diving spots around Tulum.
We did two dives , on the first one he checked with my friends their diving skills and refreshed the diving bases with them  (they told me that they felt super safe to do it after) and when he saw that their level was good enough he took us at the "Dos Ojos" cenote and we had the best time. His way of describing the place and what we were going to do was so calm and funny at the same time and he was always ready to answer questions and make us feel relaxed and safe.
He organized everything, from picking us up , preparing lunch and snacks and taking us safely back! I would 100% recommend him, if you want to explore some caving cenotes and dive around, he's the guy to call!

Alan es un excelente instructor de buceo. Hicimos buceo en cenotes y arrecife, siempre fue puntual en sus observaciones y paciente en todo momento. Al ser un experimentado buzo en la zona, conoce y comparte la información respectiva para hacer cada inmersión más nutritiva. 10/10

We had amazing time diving in cenotes, I didn’t expect such s fulfilling experience. Alan made us feel very safe, we had a lit of fun and even saw a crocodile while diving😍
Would recommend for anyone 100%!
