No, we provide full, professional-quality gear. You're welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
I keep groups small – usually 2–4 divers – or offer private sessions upon request.
You must be at least 15 years old (with parental consent) for certification courses. For intro experiences, minimum age may vary based on location and conditions.
Absolutely. All dives include a full briefing, top-quality equipment, and certified instruction focused on your safety.
You're welcome to bring your own underwater camera to capture memories! GoPro rental is also available subject to availability. Please note that photography policies vary by location — while open water diving allows full camera freedom, some cenotes may have restrictions or additional fees. I'll inform you of specific policies for each dive site.

I had the pleasure to go out to two cenote with elisa and had a fantastic time. Great doves both and elisa was professional, punctual, caring and very patient with me. She is also a good diver and within her slight frame packs a lot of strength. I will recommend her wholeheartedly.

Tuve la oportunidad de realizar 6 inmersiones con Diving Universe en diferentes cenotes del Yucatán, y la experiencia fue simplemente inolvidable. Cada cenote era único, mágico y lleno de una atmósfera impresionante, y todo estuvo perfectamente organizado de principio a fin. El equipo transmitía siempre seguridad, profesionalidad y pasión por lo que hace.
Un elogio extraordinario a Alan, quien me acompañó en la mayoría de las inmersiones: siempre prudente, paciente, con gran experiencia y una amabilidad que me hizo sentir seguro y cómodo en todo momento. Además, Alan no solo fue un excelente guía bajo el agua, sino que también me ayudó fuera del mundo del buceo, dándome consejos muy útiles sobre la Riviera Maya: dónde comer, qué lugares visitar y cómo aprovechar al máximo mi estancia.
También quiero agradecer profundamente a Brenda, que me guió en una de las jornadas: fue igualmente profesional, atenta y muy simpática. Su manera cercana de explicar y su cuidado constante hicieron que esa inmersión fuera una experiencia muy especial. Además, ella también me ofreció recomendaciones sobre sitios locales, lo cual fue de gran ayuda.
En resumen, Diving Universe es mucho más que un centro de buceo: es una familia que te acompaña, te cuida y hace que vivas la experiencia en los cenotes del Yucatán y en la Riviera Maya de una manera completa, tanto dentro como fuera del agua. I had the opportunity to do 6 dives with Diving Universe in different cenotes in the Yucatán, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Each cenote was unique, magical, and breathtaking, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The whole team inspired safety, professionalism, and a genuine passion for diving.
A special praise goes to Alan, who guided me through most of the dives: always cautious, patient, highly experienced, and incredibly kind, making me feel safe and comfortable at all times. Beyond being an excellent dive guide, Alan also helped me outside the diving world, giving me great recommendations about the Riviera Maya—where to eat, which places to visit, and how to make the most of my stay.
I also want to sincerely thank Brenda, who guided me on one of the days: she was equally professional, attentive, and very friendly. Her clear explanations and constant care made that dive particularly memorable. She too shared valuable local tips, which I truly appreciated.
In short, Diving Universe is much more than just a dive center: it feels like a family that takes care of you, guides you, and helps you enjoy not only the amazing cenotes of the Yucatán but also the Riviera Maya beyond diving. I absolutely recommend them 100% and would return without hesitation.

We were a group of 6 that did 2 tours. Alan was great to deal with answering all questions before booking through WhatsApp. The first tour was the ocean view of the ruins and snorkeling. Jose was very knowledgeable and took pictures of our group that he shared with us. The second tour was snorkeling in two different cenotes. We had a great time and loved the beauty of both locations! Everyone was super nice and made us feel safe throughout both excursions! Great job!

We had the best time with Alan! He was knowledgeable, relaxed, well prepared and just provided an overall amazing experience. We did 4 cenotes dives with him, which were so different from the ocean diving I’d done previously, but thanks to his guidance I felt prepped and relaxed for all of them allowing for maximum enjoyment. 13/10!
